Voices Against Violence is located in Framingham, MA.

The event took place September 28th, 2024.

Voices Against Violence’s mission is to end sexual and domestic violence by delivering community education, primary prevention, and increased public awareness and action. Voices provides free and confidential services to victims and survivors of sexual and domestic violence in the MetroWest area.

Services are provided in English, Spanish, and Portuguese and are available to everyone regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, or sexual orientation. Services include a 24-hour hotline, crisis intervention, confidential short-term emergency shelter, counseling and support groups, information and referrals, and medical, legal, and criminal justice advocacy. Voices also offer Supervised Visitation services on a sliding fee schedule through KidSpace.

In addition to direct services for victims and survivors, Voices conducts outreach and education to community groups and professionals, as well as primary prevention activities to address the root causes of violence and prevent the development of perpetration.

Thanksgiving Clothing Drive

Thanksgiving /Clothing Drive

Started 2024

This year for Thanksgiving, and for every Thanksgiving moving forward, Queen of Hearts Painting will be teaming up with SMOC Shelters of Framingham to Provide Thanksgiving Dinners.

We will also be participating every winter in a clothing drive for the SMOC shelters. If you would like to donate please contact Sarah at [email protected].

SMOC operates, congregates, and scattered site shelter units in the Metro-West and Worcester areas. Case management and intensive housing search services are provided. The goal is for families to obtain permanent housing through market rate and subsidized housing applications.

Approximately 330 families are provided with emergency shelter each month. If you are experiencing homelessness please check out the resources below.
